In honor of the 10th of Shevat, prepare to be captivated by the groundbreaking production, “This World Is a Garden,” a breathtaking fusion of art, music, and storytelling.
Through stunning visuals and the mesmerizing live performance of a string quartet, this one-of-a-kind experience brings to life a three-hundred-year-old vision: to see the world through divine eyes—as G-d’s garden.
At the heart of this masterpiece is the story of a Chassidic farmer, steadfastly tending to his cherished patch of earth. Across the passage of time, his tale unfolds as a testament to hope, perseverance, and an unyielding connection to a higher purpose.
The production features seven evocative short films, each exploring a key theme from the Rebbe’s inaugural Chasidic Discourse—an illuminating vision of the world as a sacred garden. Every film transitions seamlessly into a soul-stirring Chabad Niggun, a melody representing one of the seven Rebbes of the Chabad dynasty.
These Niggunim, specially arranged for this program by Maestro Israel Edelson, are brought to life by the hauntingly beautiful strings of the quartet, weaving together centuries of tradition with a modern, emotional resonance.
“This World is a Garden” is more than a performance—it is an invitation to see, feel, and experience the world as a place of profound beauty and meaning.
The evening opens with a reception featuring savory and sweet selections by EB Catering Co.
